With all the restaurants, arcades, shopping stores, and bars, there definitely will be a profit made. A $26 million entertainment expansion and revitalization was introduced in 1998 that allowed the Tower to provide Edge Arcade, motion simulator rides, and Momentum, Images of Canadian film. The CN Tower employs about 600 people according to the 2001 stats. In all, the tower cost $57 million dollars to create and took three and a half years to build. About 1.6 million tourists each year are drawn to the tower, each paying a hefty admission price for a bird’s eye view of the city. This increases the total revenue generated by the tower.


Admissions for 2003-2004

  1. Lookout and Glass Floor---$15.99 for adults 13-64,
    $13.99 for seniors (65+), $10.99 for Children 4 to 12, and children under three are free.
  2. Skypod Admission about $7.00
  3. Simulator rides are $7.50 per person.
